ACLS                   PALS                   BLS                   HEARTSAVER 


Heartsaver
Instructor 

The Heartsaver (HS) Instructor Course is designed to prepare AHA instructors with the necessary skills to deliver the comprehensive methodology of the AHA resuscitation programs. HS Instructor certification will enable you to teach any American Heart Association HS Course including Heartsaver First Aid, Heartsaver CPR, Heartsaver AED, Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid, Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen, and other Heartsaver courses.

BLS & Heartsaver
Instructor 

The Basic Life Support (BLS) and Heartsaver (HS) bundle Instructor Course is  designed to prepare AHA instructors with the necessary skills to disseminate the science, skills, and philosophy of resuscitation programs to participants enrolled in AHA courses. The course is based on science evidence from the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

 

PALS Instructor 

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor Course is to develop proficiency in teaching, organizing and conducting a provider course. The goal of the PALS Instructor course is teach the skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage students in the treatment of critically ill infants and children. The course is based on science evidence from the 2010 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

 


Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor Course is to develop proficiency in teaching, organizing and conducting an ACLS provider course. To achieve this, ACLS Instructors must have a firm working knowledge of the ACLS material. Candidates will learn how to make effective presentations of ACLS information and materials, manage learning stations according to the resuscitation team concept and function as the leader in all components of an ACLS Provider course.

The Fine Print…

All instructors must align with an Authorized AHA Training Center.  A certificate of completion will be issued at the end the instructor course, but additional requirements must be met prior to receiving instructor card.  An instructor card will be issued by the aligned Training Center upon successful monitoring of a provider course in the appropriate discipline. For ACLS and PALS all courses must have a course director available during the course.
