Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Skills Test

Part II and III of the Heartsaver First Aid, CPR AED “Skills” test is the final phase of the certification process.  In Phase I, the student has navigated through a web-based, self-paced instructional program.

To receive an AHA Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED course completion card, students must complete three parts which include the following:

  • Part I: Completion of the online portion , Next students receive a certificate of completion, which must be presented for parts II and III
  • Part II: A hands-on skills practice session with an AHA (NPSC) Heartsaver Instructor
  • Part III: A skills test with an AHA (NPSC) Heartsaver Instructor

Intended Audience:

For public safety such as law enforcement personnel, firefighters, security or other first responders. Civilians such as teachers, day-care workers, coaches and volunteers with sports organizations. Church volunteers including ushers, staff and Sunday school teachers. Individuals who designated responders for disaster preparation and anyone who has a duty to respond to emergencies due to job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

Course Length:

1-2 hours for (Part II and III).

Exams:

Skill testing (Parts II and III) must be completed and graded with a “Passing” score.
